LG Madeiras delivers traceable and certified Pine and Eucalyptus wood through an integrated production chain, ensuring quality, compliance, and reliability for global markets. The company is a wood manufacturing industry located in Ituporanga, Santa Catarina. Founded in April 2007, LG Madeiras emerged from the practical experience of its founders, who already owned Pine and Eucalyptus forests and identified the need for specialized services in forest management and wood processing.

With managed forest areas, the opportunity to add value to the wood at its origin became clear, ensuring quality control, legal compliance, and full traceability from planting onward. As a result, in October 2009, LG Madeiras implemented its first industrial sawmill line for Pine and Eucalyptus, marking the beginning of its industrial operations.

As market requirements evolved and demand increased for higher-quality products, particularly for export markets, the company took another strategic step in October 2012 by installing a new production line dedicated to export-grade lumber, significantly improving volume, consistency, and overall product performance.

With the expansion of industrial capacity, it became necessary to also scale up forest harvesting operations. LG Madeiras therefore invested continuously in specialized large-scale harvesting equipment, achieving operational autonomy to supply its own facilities and to commercialize logs for other companies within the sector.

Over the years, the company has undergone continuous structuring, modernization, and professionalization, guided by technical rigor and a strong commitment to quality. In 2017, LG Madeiras began a new investment cycle with the installation of high-capacity wood drying kilns, certified for KD and HT, and equipped with advanced software systems that ensure dimensional stability, moisture control, and phytosanitary safety.

Following the Covid-19 pandemic, the company’s leadership defined the next phase of strategic growth. This decision led, in 2023, to the implementation of a new veneer production line, which quickly became one of the company’s core commercial products, serving both domestic and international markets.
