Who we are

From the forest
to industry.

LG Madeiras is a wood mill in the industrial district of Ituporanga, Santa Catarina, Brazil. Founded in April 2007, it grew out of the founders’ hands-on experience in reforestation.

With forests under management, it became clear that it was worth adding value to the wood right at the source. Since then the company has added one step after another: sawmill, export line, large-scale mechanized harvesting, drying kilns and, in 2023, veneer production.

Today LG has forests in Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul, its own fleet, a sawmill, a veneer mill and kilns, and ships sawn pine lumber and eucalyptus and pine veneer to 5 continents, as well as supplying logs, biomass and firewood to industry and agriculture in the region.
