Harvester working in a planted pine forest

Supply chain

One company.
The whole chain.

From seedling to container, every step is done by LG Madeiras. That is how we know where every log came from.

No outsourced steps. No step without a record.

LG Madeiras was founded in 2007 out of reforestation work. The first sawmill line came in 2009, the export line in 2012, the drying and heat treatment kilns in 2017, and veneer production in 2023.

Each step brought in-house a stage that used to depend on third parties. Today the buyer deals with the people who plant, harvest, haul, saw, peel, dry and ship.

It all starts
with a seedling.

Our own forests, planted and managed by LG, and partner forests, harvested by our crews. Pine and eucalyptus across several regions of Santa Catarina and in Rio Grande do Sul, under FSC®-certified management. Every harvested area is replanted.

06Full use

Every part
of the log counts.

Chips from the veneer mill fuel our boiler, which generates steam for the kilns, the dryer and log conditioning. Surplus chips and sawdust become biomass for boilers and pellet plants, and pine pulpwood goes to pulp mills, firewood to local farmers.
